Job opening: SEASONAL PACKAGING LABOURER (STARTING JULY 2026)
Victoria, BC
Beer doesn’t package itself… and that’s where you come in. If you like staying active, working with a solid crew, and being part of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the brewery humming, we’ve got a Seasonal Packaging role for you from July to December 1st 2026.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the packaging line (canning/bottling): feeding materials, keeping product moving, and helping the line run safely and smoothly.
- Building and prepping packaging materials: cardboard, trays, PakTechs, labels, carriers, etc. so the line stays stocked and efficient.
- Quality checks throughout the run: dates/lot codes, label placement, and overall pack-out accuracy.
- Packing out finished product: case building, palletizing, wrapping, and staging for the warehouse/shipping team.
- Cleaning and changeovers: assisting with end-of-run cleanup, sanitation, and line resets to keep everything dialed.
- Helping with packaging supply organization: counts, put-away, and keeping storage areas tidy and functional.
What we’re looking for:
- You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded. You do it right, not “good enough.”
- You’re comfortable with physical, on-your-feet work all day.
- Packaging/warehouse/manufacturing experience is great, but we’ll train the right person with a strong work ethic and good attitude.
- Bonus points if you’ve used (or want to learn) pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
- You can follow SOPs, communicate clearly, and work well as part of a crew.
What you’ll like here:
- You’ll be part of a team that takes the work seriously, but not ourselves.
- A front-row seat to how a brewery runs, from bright tank to packaged beer.
- You’ll go home tired in the best way, because you helped keep great beer moving.
Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, wet floors and seasonal busy periods. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and safely handle kegs/cases/materials with appropriate equipment. May require early starts and occasional schedule flexibility during peak production times.
Pay: $21 – $23 per hour (based on experience / training) + 4% vacation pay
Perks & Benefits: Enjoy an employee store discount, team lunches and events, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health resources and support.
